Fritsch Holzer Park 3Gigapixel

Fritch Holzer Park in Borrondara is highly significant to the Hidden Melbourne project in which we have been collecting historic views of Melbourne from the towers of the first buildings after settlement in 1835, and walking in the footsteps of the old image makers to capture views of the modern city from the same locations.

Due to the high rise buildings in the city, most of the city's old towers have lost their interconnecting views. Boroondara covers a huge area to the east of the city. This viewpoint lies 7km East of the city and 7km south of Heidelberg Town Hall, from the tower of which we captured a Gigapixel view of the city.
