Gigapixel Panoramic view from Richmond Town Hall

Captured as 100's of overlapping frames from each side of the upper platform of the of the Richmond Town Hall, this shows the complete 360° view of Richmond and surroundings from the clocktower. A modern map shows the viewing direction and  marker labels show notable buildings. Click on the “View” and “Visit” labels to see the view from that location in a new browser tab. Locations such as Govt House will open views from that location. Metro Gas Tower will open a series of views captured from the same location over time. The view from the tower of Auburn Uniting Church is excellent. These virtual tours represent travel through time and space in Melbourne's History. The balcony of the town hall is very narrow, which require a panoramic view to be captured from W, S, E and North and then joined.
